Abstract

Preserving culture using digital technology will provide benefits for preserving that culture. However, it is still very rare for Yapim Pekanbaru Vocational School students to study the culture of Tanah Melayu as local residents of Pekanbaru. This is due to the lack of media information about Malay culture. Based on the problems that occur at YAPIM Pekanbaru Vocational School, the solution offered is assistance in implementing the digitalization of Malay culture through the animated film program "Tajau Emas" for students at YAPIM Pekanbaru Vocational School for approximately 1 teacher year. The result of this assistance is that YAPIM Vocational School students can better understand Malay culture, especially in Riau Province, through the animated film "Tajau Emas". Through this film, YAPIM Vocational School students can get to know and preserve Malay culture so that this culture is not eroded by the times.
