Abstract
This research was motivated by the low Computational Thinking (CT) ability of students as prospective teacher, as well as change in the learning system from face-to-face to online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research specifically aims to improve students' mathematical computational thinking skill through interactive multimedia-based teaching material to support online learning. This research is a quantitative research (quasi�experimental) which was carried out at 2 universities, namely Riau Islamic University and Pasir Pengaraian University. The research subjects were prospective mathematics teacher Student who contracted the Structure Algebra course at UIR (experimental class) and prospective mathematics teacher student at UPP (control class). The data collection method used is a computational thinking ability test and the test result data is processed by statistical test. Normality test using Kolmogorov-Smirnov and homogeneity test using Levene and also 2-way Anova test. Based on the result of the 2-way ANOVA test, a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05 was obtained. This means that there is an increase in the mathematical computational thinking ability of student who receive learning using interactive multimedia-based teaching material.
