Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the contribution of leg muscle strength and eye-foot coordination to passing and stopping in SSB U-14 Nongsa Football Training Batam. This type of research is correlation. The population in this study was the SSB U-14 Nongsa Football Training Batam players, totaling 14 people. The sampling technique used was total sampling so that the sample in this study was 14 people. The research instruments used were leg muscle strength tests, eye-foot coordination tests and football passing and stopping tests. The data analysis technique used is the multiple correlation value test and calculating the contribution value. (1) There is a contribution of leg muscle strength to passing and stopping of SSB U-14 Nongsa Football Training Batam football with a value of rcount = 0.700 > rtable = 0.532 and a KD value of 49.00% (2) There is a contribution of eye-foot coordination to passing and stopping of football SSB U-14 Nongsa Football Training Batam with a value of rcount = 0.689 > rtable = 0.532 and a KD value of 47.47% (3) There is a contribution of leg muscle strength and eye-foot coordination to passing and stopping football SSB U-14 Nongsa Football Training Batam with rcount = 0.783 > rtable = 0.532 and KD value is 61.31%.
