Abstract

This study was conducted to find out the antibacterial activity of soursop leaf extract and the best concentration to inhibit the growth of bacteria A. salmonicida, P. aeruginosa and V. alginolyticus. The ingredients used in this study were soursop leaf extract, A. salmonicide bacteria, P. aeruginosa and V. alginolyticus, Methanol, NB, Ethyl, NA, Disc paper and Aquades. The method used is Longan Random Design (RAL) with 5 treatments and 3 repetitions with P1 extract concentration of 10%, P2 concentration of extract 20%, P3 concentration of extract 30%, P4 concentration of extract 40%, P5 concentration of extract 50%. The result of this study is Soursop Leaves (A. muricata L) contains alkaloid compounds, phenolics, terpenoids/steroids and flavonoids. Then the inhibitory power of Soursop leaf extract against the growth of bacteria A. salmonicide at a concentration of 10% to 30% with a moderate category and a concentration of 40% to 50% with a strong category. Inhibition of the growth of bacteria P. aeruginosa and V. alginolyticus at concentrations of 10% to 20% with moderate sataygori and concentrations of 30% to 50% belong to the strong category.
