Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of investment and population on GRDP in Riau Province. The independent variables consist of PMDN, PMA, and total population. While the dependent variable is GRDP in Riau Province. The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of annual quantitative figures from 2011 to 2020. The source of data used in this study comes from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS). This research uses multiple linear regression analysis method and uses Statistical Test and Classical Assumption Test. The data is processed using the Eviews 10 application. The results of this study indicate that domestic investment and foreign investment have a positive and significant effect on GRDP in Riau Province. And the population has a positive and significant effect on GRDP in Riau Province.
