Abstract

This study aims to produce mathematics learning tools, namely Learning Implementation Plans (RPP) and Student Worksheets (LKPD) with the Guided Discovery method that have been tested valid. This study uses a modified Research and Development (R&D) development model so that it consist of several steps, namely: 1) Potential and Problems, 2) Data Collection, 3) Product Design, 4) Design Validation, 5) Design Revision, 6) Final Product. This R&D development model is limited to only 6 steps because at the time this research was conducted there was a COVID-19 pandemic which caused the practically test stage to be impossible. The data collection technique used is the validation of lesson plans and LKPD by three expert validators. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis. From the results of this study, the result of the RPP validation were 87,17% with a very valid category and the results of the LKPD validation were 82,19% with a valid category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that this development research resulted in learning tools for mathematics, namely RPP and LKPD with the guided discovery method on the material of a three-variable linear equation system for class X students of SMA Negeri 9 Pekanbaru, whose validity was tested with a valid category.
