Abstract

Research with the title Growth Response and Production of Several Peanut Varieties (Arachis hypogaea L.) on Giving POC Fish Waste. This research was carried out at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Islamic University of Riau, Pekanbaru March - June 2021. The aim of the research was to determine the interaction and main effect on the growth and production of several peanut varieties on the provision of POC from fish waste. The experimental design used was a split plot design in the form of a completely randomized design consisting of a main plot and subplots. The main plot consisted of several varieties of peanuts which consisted of 4 levels of treatment, namely varieties of deer, rabbit, dose 2 and tuban, while the sub plots consisted of fish waste POC which also consisted of 4 levels of treatment, namely 0, 15, 30, 45 ml/l. Parameters observed were plant height, number of primary branches, relative growth rate, flowering age, harvest age, number of pods per plant, percentage of fruitful pods, weight of fresh pods per plant, weight of dry pods per plant, dry weight of seeds per plant, weight 100 seed. Data were analyzed statistically and followed by honestly Significant difference (HSD) at the 5% level. The results showed that the interaction of several varieties with fish waste POC had a significant effect on the number of pods and the percentage of rice pods with the best variety measuring 2 and 45 ml POC of fish waste per liter of water. The main effect of several varieties of groundnut significantly affected all parameters of observation with the best treatment at measuring variety 2. The main effect of fish waste POC significantly affected all parameters with the best treatment of 45 ml of fish waste POC per l.
