Abstract

The background of this research is the issue of poverty, which makes Indonesia the state that is looking for various solutions to overcome the problem of poverty. This study aims to analyze and explain the Effectiveness of the Implementation of the Family Hope Program (PKH) of the Social Service in Efforts to Reduce Poverty in the Communities of Sukamaju Village, Bengkalis Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method using observation, supporting techniques for literature studies. Primary data was obtained directly through interviews with key informants and informants. namely the Head of the Social Service, KASI Family Social Security, Social Assistance Officer, PKH Facilitator, 5 Participants who received PKH, and 3 Participants who did not receive PKH. Secondary data obtained from research documentation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of PKH in Sukamaju Village has not been implemented properly, because there are still errors in the data collection of PKH participants who do not meet the criteria, then misuse of funds from PKH participants outside of the specified fields and has not fulfilled Financial Institution Facilities such as BRI Link for disbursement of funds. In order for the policies set by the government to be achieved, there needs to be good cooperation from the central and regional governments with participants who receive PKH funds as well as supervision from all parties. Awareness is needed for PKH participating communities in using the funds received.
