Abstract

This study aims to find out how the process or implementation of learning Arts and Crafts (Wira Pertiwi dance) in grade 5 SD Negeri 183 Pekanbaru Even Semester TA. 2022/2023. The research was conducted in Grade 5 of SD Negeri 183 Pekanbaru from January to February 2023. The population in this study was grades V – 5 of SD Negeri 183 Pekanbaru. totaling 32 students. The type of research used in this study is a qualitative description, namely one of the research procedures that produces descriptive data in the form of speech or writing and the behavior of the person being observed. The research method used is a qualitative research method with descriptive analytical data collection. It is hoped that the results of this research can be utilized in teaching arts and culture, especially dance in schools. – February 15, 2023 in the implementation of cultural arts learning (Wira Pertiwi dance) in class V-5 of SD Negeri 183 Pekanbaru, Pekanbaru City, even semester of TP 2022/2023. It can be concluded that the learning has been going according to the steps in the lesson plan and it can be said that this learning is going well. Evaluation is carried out by the teacher at the beginning and at the end of learning, but evaluation is more often done at the end of learning so that students can understand learning better. This can be proven from the acquisition of scores of students who almost all scored above KKM 70, that is, there were 13 or 40.62% of students who scored in the good category with a range of 80 – 90, then 16 or 50.00%. Students who scored in the moderate category with a range of 70-79 and 3 or 9.38% of students who scored in the poor category with a range of 51-69.
