Abstract

This research is motivated by the presence of several young women who do not wear Muslim clothing and only very few young women do wear Muslim clothing in accordance with Islamic law when in outside the housing complex of KPP I Kubang Jaya. As for the formulation of the problem in this research is How is the role of parents towards education Muslim clothing for women at KPP 01 Kubang Jaya Housing. What is the relevance of the role of parents in dress education Muslim women who must be given to girls today. Objective this research is to know the role of parents in educating children Women in wearing Muslim clothing. Approach used through a case study approach with qualitative research. Main informant are parents at KPP I Kubang Jaya Housing. Data collection techniques technique used is through interviews and documentation. technique processing and analysis of data used in qualitative research is data cleaning, transcription, coding, categorization and interpretation. Results research shows that the role of parents towards girls in Muslim dress at KPP I Kubang Jaya Housing was carried out by encouraging his daughter to dress according to Islamic law, giving advice, reprimanding, and getting used to dressing Muslim women since childhood. Parents meet the needs of clothing that covers the genitals, such as headscarves, long-sleeved shirts and long skirts, both for school uniforms and for school uniforms daily needs. The fact is how to dress young women in Not all of KPP I Kubang Jaya housing are dressed according to the Shari'a Islam. Some young women are already wearing headscarves, and wearing clothes long sleeves that are not tight, but there are also some young women who do not wear the headscarf, both in daily activities in the environment society, as well as at school.
