Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of education and training programs on the work performance of employees of the Dumai Selatan sub-district office. The sampling technique in this study was to use a saturated sample. In this case the researcher took a sample of all employees by distributing questionnaires to employees totaling 53 samples. The data analysis method uses the SmartPLS software version of the PLS test student orPartial Least Square is a structural equation approach (structural equation modelling/SEM) based on variant. The results of the study showed that: (1) the education program had a positive and significant effect on the work performance of the Dumai Selatan sub- district office employees, (2) training had a positive and significant effect on the work performance of the Dumai Selatan sub-district office employees (3) the education and training program had a positive and significant effect on the work performance of the employees of the Dumai Selatan sub-district office.
