Abstract

Knowing and analyzing the Effect of Job Analysis and Career Development on the Performance of Civil Servants in the Public Works and Spatial Planning, Housing and Residential Areas Meranti Islands Regency Service. The type of research used in this study was a survey method with a quantitative approach to statistical analysis of the influence between variables. In this study, information was collected from all respondents using a questionnaire and collecting relevant secondary data. The sample population in this study was 36 people with the head of the service as a key informant using a census technique for sampling. The type of data used was primary data collected using questionnaires and interviews while secondary data was collected using observation and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used is validity test, reliability test, normality test, simple linear regression test and partial test (T test). Based on the results of the study found that in analyzing which task skills, and skills. In this study the indicator that has the highest mean value is the task skills indicator with a mean value of 4.44. This shows that the Office of Public Works and Spatial Planning, Housing and Residential Areas has a job analysis that is classified as in the high category. This is because the PUPRPKP service has a framework related to rules and policies within the company can improve ability to work can be seen from the highest mean value of the item is the item, this is in accordance with the theory of capacity building put forward by Rivai and Mulyadi (2009) which states that the framework has a role to encourage and provide mutual support, recognize the achievements of team members, encourage and facilitate members to work, and maintain commitment.
