Abstract
Human resource management must be done professionally so as to produce competent human resources so that later it can improve the performance of individuals in the organization. But the key to success in management, especially for employees, one of which is how leadership is in the organization. In the process of creating high performance, leadership from a leader has a very important role. This study aims to determine the Effect of Leadership Style of Agency Head on Employee Performance in Dumai City Regional Revenue Agency. The assessment indicators used include Autocratic Style, Democracy Style, Laissez Faire Style, Work Pretension, Expertise, Behavior, and Leadership research type located in the Revenue Agency This Dumai city area is a Descriptive Survey, which protects the questionnaire as a data collection tool and the data collected with this tool is then used as the main raw material for analyzing the empirical condition of the objectivity of the existence of research objectives at a conscientious location. There is one population group and the sample in this study is all employees who are in the Revenue Agency of the city of Dumai with a total sample of 88 people. One technique used in determining individual samples is the Saturated Census / Sampling. Types and data collection techniques used consist of primary data collected by questionnaire and interview techniques as well as secondary data collected using observation techniques. While the data analysis techniques used are simple linear regression equations, validity test, reliability test, determinant coefficient and t test. Based on the simple linear regression equation Y = 30,356 + 0,322 x, which is very meaningful and linear, 1% Leadership Style will influence an increase in Employee Performance of 0.322 on a constant of 30.335, the coefficient of determination is 8.2%. And the results of the t test with significance <0.05 means that the leadership style has a significant influence on employee performance at the Dumai City Regional Revenue Agency.
