Abstract

Customary land/ulayat land is a large area of land that is jointly owned by a clan or tribe. Tesso Nilo National Park is also a place for protected animals to live, so that is what made BKSDA make this community's land a National Park. Disputes over land, such as the conflict between indigenous peoples and the TNTN, are still numerous and many have yet to be resolved, so that indigenous peoples are not free to cultivate their land. The purpose of this study is to find out what are the Peaceful Efforts Related to Disputes over the Transfer of Customary Land Functions in the Tesso Nilo Protected Forest between the Community and Bksda Riau (Case Study in Air Hitam Village, Ukui District, Pelalawan Regency). The method used in this study is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results of the research are that the efforts made to resolve this land dispute are with the community getting an SKT from the party, the community is still allowed to harvest oil palm products but may not add land to the conservation area, and if there are problems it will be resolved by deliberation.
