Abstract

Wild racing is a form of juvenile delinquency that endangers other people. This illegal racing action has a detrimental impact on the community, so that people feel restless and worried. illegal racing because today's teenagers have a high curiosity, influenced by movies or just want to find a name and be called a hero, juvenile delinquency can be characterized as deviant or unwanted behavior that harms oneself and others. As a result, the perpetrators of wild racing on public highways, and the main route is used to deliver these racers. In this study, the problem to be reviewed regarding the imposition of sanctions against illegal racers using relative theory and this research was conducted using qualitative methods with the main research data obtained through interviews with two illegal racers, three local communities, the Bukit Raya Police and psychologists. Based on the results of the interviews that have been conducted, it can be concluded that the Bukit Raya Police gave sanctions to perpetrators of illegal racing, namely the imposition of imprisonment for a maximum of two months, physical sanctions during illegal racing raids, summoning parents of perpetrators of illegal racing, and detention of motorcycles up to completed the trial process by re-equipping the vehicle.
