Abstract

Basically, not all humans can meet their sexual needs. Prisoners as people who are socially isolated and have lost their freedom in a prison or correctional institution certainly cannot fulfill their basic sexual needs. The research location in the Pekanbaru Class II A Lapas is qualitative. The type of research used by the author is descriptive qualitative. While the data collection techniques used were purposive sampling and incidental sampling. Purposive Sampling is a sampling technique with certain considerations. The key informants in this study were the Head of Social Guidance and Care Subsection for Class II A Pekanbaru prisons, and informants from prison officers and prisoners. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the prisoner coaching program in Correctional Institutions is an initial effort made in order to reduce the risk factors for same-sex sexual deviation in Class II A prison in Pekanbaru. So religious development, personality development and independence development are coaching programs that prioritize the primary prevention strategy model. The recognition process carried out through the mappenaling program can be categorized as a secondary prevention strategy effort. Whereas the tertiary prevention strategy is carried out with a coaching process such as fostering independence.
