Abstract
Corruption is the act of stealing violence or someone's trust in a subject or organization for personal gain or gain. This study aims to conduct an analysis related to village fund corruption in the ditch construction project from a criminological perspective. This study uses a qualitative method and type of case study research. The theory used in this study is the Willingness and Opportunity to Corrupt theory and the Differential Association theory. From this problem, the results of this study are that there are several modes carried out by the village head due to the opportunity to carry out modes and desires that are driven by personal needs and a lack of supervision of village funds. The conclusion is that corruption in village funds is triggered by individual factors, when viewed from the differential association theory, corrupt behavior is learned by actors based on intense interactions with other people, so that from these interactions the perpetrators learn ways to commit corruption. The Willingness and Opportunity to Corrupt theory explains that corruption can occur when opportunities arise due to system weaknesses or lack of oversight and desires driven by need or greed.
