Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic that has occurred around the world has changed the pattern and system of direct or face-to-face learning to be online learning. This change certainly experienced many obstacles, especially in understanding concepts that require a high level of visualization, especially in graphic design courses. One concept that requires a high visual level is the concept of 3D exterior design or design. If this material is only taught through textbooks, pictures or online, the learning outcomes will not be optimal. This study aims to create Augmented Reality-based graphic design learning media to support the learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Assemblr application used in making learning media can be accessed in real-time via Android Smartphones anytime and anywhere so that students can study independently. The functions, objects, and menus provided in the Assemblr Application are numerous, easy to use, and supportive of graphic design learning. This research produces interactive learning media that is interesting and fun in graphic design learning because the results of the design or design can be displayed directly in 3D and Augmented reality.
