Abstract

BKS-P16 is a well located in the Bekasap Field which is part of the PHR well. Based on the results of evaluation of the formation and current production from surrounding wells, there are good oil opportunities in the MNH formation. The BKS- P16 well is a vertical well with an oil producer type and started production on 25- Aug-1997. Swabbing job is a job to draw/remove fluid from the well through a special string, such as tubing, drill pipe. The swab job carried out on the BKS-P16 well aims to reduce the hydrostatic pressure of the well and test production. Reduction of hydrostatic pressure is done to avoid pressure on certain layers/intervals, so that the fluid can still flow into the well. In the Test Production work, it is hoped that data related to well production. All the data obtained can be used to determine the value of the productivity of the well and the design of the ESP pump that is suitable for the well. Swab test interval is a method in swabbing job where this method aims to increase the productivity level of the perforation interval (layer) to be tested. In this well, the swab test interval was carried out at a single interval, namely on the MNH layer (3380-3386 ft). From the calculation results, the final result is a reduction in hydrostatic pressure 1569 psi from the initial pressuref 1639 psi with a total absorption of 14.2 bbl of fluid completion. For production test calculations, the fluid flow rate (rate/day) was 581.94 bbl/day, PI was 0.9 bbls/psi and Q max was 944,286 barrels. The optimum PSD is 2982 ft with the ESP DN750 pump type, the required stage is 116 stages and the brake horse power is 26.68 HP.
