Abstract

This study aims to test the validity and practicality of the development of Problem-Based Learning (PBL)-based mathematics learning tools on the material of a three-variable system of linear equations in class X SMA. The subjects of this study were students of class X SMAN 1 Bunut. This type of research is development research using the ADDIE model, namely from the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluate. The methods used in data collection are interviews and questionnaires. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets and student response questionnaires. The results of the assessment of the validity of the learning tools obtained based on the validation sheet are 84.38% for the syllabus, the learning tools in the form of the syllabus developed are included in the fairly valid category, 88.72% for the value of the validity of the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), then the learning tool is a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP). The RPP that was developed was categorized as very valid, and 86.24% for the validation value of the Student Worksheet (LKPD), then the learning tool in the form of the Student Worksheet (LKPD) developed could be categorized as very valid. Field trials based on student response questionnaires obtained a value of 89,44% then the learning tools developed can be categorized as very practical. So it can be concluded that the Problem-Based Learning (PBL)-based learning tool includes the syllabus with a fairly valid category, while the Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) and Student Worksheet (LKPD) are very valid and very practical to use as learning tools.
