Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of economic growth and minimum wages on labor absorption in Riau province. The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of annual quantitative data from 2007-2021. The data source used in this study comes from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS). This study uses multiple linear regression analysis and uses Statistical Tests and Classical Assumptions Tests. The data was processed using the SPSS 20 application. The results showed that economic growth (X1) did not significantly influence labor absorption (Y) in Riau Province. And the Minimum Wage (X2) has a positive and significant effect on Labor Absorption (Y) in Riau Province.
