Abstract
this study aims to determine the role if bumdes village owned enterprises Ngudi Rahayu Jaya as efforts to improve community welfare in kerubung jaya village, batang cenaku district, indragiri hulu regency. the data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. the data analysis method used in this research is descriptive method. the results of the study indicate that the role of the ngudi rahayu jaya village owned enterprise in an effort to improve the welfare of the community in kerubung jaya village, batang cenaku district, indragiri hulu regency is very important. judging from the comparison of the income of bundes ngudi rahayu jaya custiomers with the decent living needs (KHL) in indragiri hulu regency, it is known that before becoming customers, all 25 respondents had their income below KHL and were not prosperous. above KHL and become prospereous.
