Abstract

Community empowerment is an effort that can create a climate that is enable the potential of society to develop, strengthen the potential and power that owned by the community, and provide protection. In this case the Office of Cooperatives & Pekanbaru City SMEs have affairs regarding the empowerment of UMK.M. This study aims to explain the empowerment carried out by the Department Pekanbaru City SME Cooperative to MSME actors and to explain what what are the inhibiting factors for the Pekanbaru City SME Cooperative Service in empower UMK.M actors based on Go-Digital. This type of research using a qualitative descriptive research method. In this study there is a Key informants, namely, the Sub-Coordinator of Business Development and Investment of the Cooperative Service & SMEs in Pekanbaru City, and informants namely micro, small, and business actors medium . who is considered the most competent and knows the problem which will be studied and able to provide information that can be developed to acquire data. Based on the research results, that the Office of Cooperatives & UKM Pekanbaru City has yet to empower Go-Digital-based MSME actors maximum due to information about programs and activities by the agency to MSME actors is not conveyed. Then there is no socialization yet given by the Office of Cooperatives & SMEs regarding digital literacy for MSME mappers. • And MSME actors hope that the service will pay more attention to the implementation such as overall coaching and development according to the problem .
