Abstract
This study aims to find out how the strategy carried out by the Kuantan Singingi District Agriculture Service in achieving the target of regional original income and to find out the obstacles that occur in achieving regional original income, especially from sources of building rental fees and fees for using tools, regional original income is income obtained from sources that have been determined based on regional regulations in accordance with statutory regulations. In this study, the strategic theory of swot analysis was used with indicators namely strengths , weaknesses , opportunities , and threats . This study uses qualitative methods then results study this form found facts _ on while in the field by researcher . The informant withdrawal technique used is technique purposive sampling, which amounted to 5 people, of course, according to the criteria of the key informants and informants. Based on the research conducted, it was found that the strategy carried out by the Agriculture Service of the Kuantan Singingi Regency in achieving the regional original income target based on the indicators of strengths , weaknesses , opportunities , and threats , explains the current strategy carried out by the District Agriculture Service has continued to strive to make improvements to the existing potential and optimize the potential that is owned. The obstacle faced in achieving the target of local revenue is that at this time the source of user fees for using tools temporarily cannot be collected due to the condition of the farming community who is powerless, then the strategy carried out in the farmer community empowerment program by subsidizing tools and machinery agriculture.
