Abstract

Thailand uses a monarchical system of government. This is because the form of government in Thailand is headed by a king and president. The Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand established the state of Thailand as a kingdom in 1991. There are still many problems faced by the people and government of Tambon Bannangsta Thailand, in terms of health there are still many malaria mosquitoes and a lack of prevention efforts, then in terms of natural resources and the environment, namely industrial waste which disturbs convenience of society and so on. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive method. In this study using a qualitative descriptive method, because in practice the researcher will recognize the subject, then interview the subject and understand what is happening in the social field in Tambon Bannangsta and know the role of the head of the Tambon in the social field. The conclusions from research regarding roles in the social field in Tambon Bannangsta Changwat Yala Thailand are in the form of motivation, facilitator, and mobilizer. Based on the results of the study, the role of the head of Tambon Bannangsta Changwat Yala Thailand in motivation, facilitator and mobilizer is considered to have played a role. The role of the tambon head which is considered weak is found in the facilitator indicator. This is because the role of tambon heads in this indicator is considered quite instrumental, especially in terms of facilities and infrastructure, not all Bannangsta areas enjoy the facilities made by the government due to the size of the area. So that only some areas can use the facilities provided.
