Abstract
This research was conducted with the aim of improving student learning outcomes in economics subjects through the Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving learning model in class XI IPS 3 at SMA Negeri 3 Siak Hulu. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research subjects were students of class XI IPS 3 at SMA Negeri 3 Siak Hulu, totaling 29 students consisting of 12 male students and 17 female students. The method used in this research is Class Action which consists of two cycles starting from 1) planning 2) implementation 3) observation 4) reflection which one cycle consists of three meetings, namely two meetings of the implementation of the learning process and one meeting of daily tests. The data collection technique used was observation/observation, testing, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis. The conclusion of this study is that there is an increase in student learning outcomes from cycle I to cycle II of a total of 29 students by applying Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving in class XI IPS 3 at SMA Negeri 3 Siak Hulu in economics.
