Abstract

Refrigerator is one of the necessities for humans in everyday life, humans need cooling devices such as refrigerators or refrigerators to store food, drinks, vegetables, coolers can also be used as blood coolers and medicines or vaccines. The Thermoelectric cooler (TEC) cooling system is an alternative cooling technology, because TEC has advantages such as small size, and does not have noise and vibration, is easier to regulate temperature, requires less maintenance, can absorb heat using the principle of heat difference so that in addition to can be a cooler can also be a heater. This study aims to find out how much temperature, current, and voltage are produced in variations in the number of thermoelectric coolers in the cooling box. In this study, variations in the number of thermoelectric coolers were carried out, namely 1,2,3, and 4 from the results of the study the number of TECs had an effect on box bending. In research that has been carried out on the number of 4 TECs, the temperature, current, and voltage are greater than the amounts of 1,2, and 3 TECs because each additional number of TECs, the temperature, current, and voltage produced, the greater the variation in the number of TECs on the cooler box. it is best to use 4 TEC because the resulting temperature, current, and voltage are greater. For a total of 1 thermoelectric cooler it produces a temperature of 27.5 C, a current of 2.44 A and a voltage of 8.50 V, in a total of 2 thermoelectric coolers it produces a temperature of 25.6 C, a current of 3.80 A and a voltage of 2.29 V, for a total of 3 thermoelectric coolers producing a temperature of 21.1 C, a current of 4.90 A and a voltage of 10.34 V, and a total of 4 thermoelectric coolers producing a temperature of 17.6 C, a current of 5.98 A and a voltage of 11. 99 V.
