Abstract

Duta Insani Housing, Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City is a housing estate that has undergone a land use change, which was originally a vacant land that was able to absorb rainwater into the ground into a closed area by residential buildings. This causes the water can not directly enter the ground but stagnates and even floods when it rains. Based on the problems that occur, efforts need to be made to reduce the impact of the reduced rainwater catchment area, namely by planning infiltration wells The purpose of this study was to determine the planned discharge before and after the infiltration well, to determine the capacity of the drainage channel, to determine the dimensions of the required well. The calculation method for calculating flood discharge uses the Rational method, and for calculating the dimensions of the infiltration well using the Sunjoto method. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the planned discharge before there was an infiltration well was 0.598m3/second, where in SU1 the design discharge is 0.524 m3/second and SU2 is 0.074 m3/second. The drainage capacity for SU1 is 0.384 m3/second, for SS3 it is 0.096 m3/second, for SS4 it is 0.067 m3/second, for SS5 it is 0.068 m3/second, and for SS6 it is 0.070 m3/second. The dimensions of the house infiltration wells type 42/88 m2 with a diameter of 1.4 m with a depth of 4.1 m, a house type 48/88 m2 with a diameter of 1.4 m with a depth of 4.2 m, type 42/88 m2 (renovation) with a diameter of 1.4 m with a depth of 4.7 m, and a type of house 66/115 m2 diameter 1.4 m with a depth of 6.4 m.
