Abstract
Anxiety is an individual's reaction to various things that are experienced where anxiety is a feeling such as anxiety, confusion and others related to subjective aspects of emotion. Based on previous research on anxiety, one of the factors that influence anxiety is a focus on internal factors. This study aims to see how big the relationship is between social support and anxiety in facing the world of work in final year psychology students at the Islamic University of Riau, the sample in this study was 135 student subjects. The sampling technique in this study used a non-probability sampling technique. In this study, it was taken using the anxiety scale and social support scale. The data were analyzed using product moment correlation analysis. The results of product moment correlation analysis were obtained with a significance value of 0.000, (p <0.05), this indicates that there is a negative relationship between social support and anxiety in facing the world of work.
