Abstract

The background of this research is the lack of Readiness of Students to become Economics and Accounting Teachers in carrying out Field Experience Practices (PPL) that have been given by the University to students who carry out PPL at school, besides that students do not get motivation to learn in carrying out their PPL assignments, so students do not relate to subject matter with phenomena that occur that should be mastered as well as possible when learning. This study aims to determine the effect of the Field Experience Practice Program (PPL) and Student Learning Motivation on the Readiness to Become an Accounting Economics Teacher in FKIP Accounting Education Class of 2018, Islamic University of Riau. This research is a descriptive quantitative research with a population of 45 Accounting Education Students class of 2018. The technique used is Proportional Random Sampling of 45 students. The data analysis technique is multiple linear regression with data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Based on research that has been carried out the effectiveness of the Field Experience Practice Program (PPL) and Student Learning Motivation have a partial and simultaneous significant effect on Readiness to Become an Economics Accounting Teacher for FKIP Accounting Education Class of 2018 at the Islamic University of Riau.
