Abstract

Bloom's Taxonomic Cognitive Level in Odd Semester Indonesian Exam Questions at SMKN 1 Pekanbaru In the 21st century, students are not only required to know and remember, but also must be able to understand, analyze, evaluate, and provide assessments and decisions about the information obtained, so schools need to apply Bloom's Taxonomy in learning, especially in making exam questions in schools in order to achieve 21st century education. The theory in this study uses Anderson & Krathwohl's revised Bloom Taxonomy theory. This study aims to determine the cognitive level content of Bloom's Taxonomy on the odd semester exam questions Indonesian at SMKN 1 Pekanbaru with a total of 50 questions. The data in this study is an odd semester exam question Indonesian SMKN 1 Pekanbaru. The source of data in the study came from the SMKN 1 Pekanbaru school. This research uses a qualitative approach by applying the content analysis method by identifying, classifying, then analyzing and finally interpreting. The results showed that the percentage of the emergence of low-level thinking skills (Lower Order Thinking Skills) tends to dominate as much as 52% with understanding questions (C2) more dominant 44% and remembering (C1) found 8%, followed by medium-level thinking skills (Middle Order Thinking Skills) applying (C3) as much as 24%. Furthermore, the ability to think at a moderate level (Middle Order Thinking Skills) is the ability to apply (C3) as much as 24%. Meanwhile, in the category of questions that develop Higher Order Thinking Skills, the percentage obtained is relatively low at 24%. The form of the recognition ability (C4) was found to be 18%, the ability to evaluate (C5) 6% and the non-discovery of the creation problem (C6) 0%.
