Abstract

This study aims to find empirical evidence regarding the effect of Corporate Social Responsibility on Corporate Financial Performance as measured by Profitability and the effect of Corporate Social Responsibility on Corporate Financial Performance as measured by Stock Returns. The sample used in this study consisted of 29 trading companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2018 period. This research is based on purposive sampling method. The total sample for this research period is 87 samples. Testing the hypothesis in this study using multiple regression analysis techniques using SPSS. The research results related to testing the relationship of corporate social responsibility to the company's financial performance which is proxied by return on equity affects the company's financial performance, so it can be concluded that the first hypothesis is declared accepted. And testing the relationship of corporate social responsibility to the company's financial performance proxied by economic value added shows an effect on the company's financial performance, so it can be concluded that the second hypothesis is declared accepted
