Abstract

In budget forecasting, there are several things that must be considered, one of which is the smallest error value in forecasting by determining several things such as total data, forecasting difference and alpha value, if the alpha value used produces a large error value, the worse the forecasting is. One way to avoid this is to perform calculations using alpha values of 0 to 1 so as to determine the alpha value that has the smallest error value. Budget forecasting is not an easy thing because the budget used in the following month will not be known as long as there is no realization data. In addition, there are several budget forecasts that are not always close to the actual budget because budget usage data is always different. In budget forecasting, Protocol Bureau employees will calculate the average value of budget usage and then analyze the budget usage and decide how much budget forecasting is. The application of this method will take a long time and has the potential to cause errors. To assist in budget forecasting, it can be done using a budget usage forecasting application. Based on the results of the conclusions and implementation of the application, this web-based budget usage forecasting application with the single exponential smoothing method can provide convenience to protocol bureau employees in forecasting future budget usage.
