Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity, practicality and effectiveness of mathematics learning tools in the form of syllabi, lesson plans (RPP) and student worksheets (LKPD) with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Geogebra software on straight line equations for class VIII SMP. The type of development research used is the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research instrument used validation sheets, student response questionnaires and teacher response questionnaires and test questions. Data collection techniques using a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used is quantitative analysis to determine validity, practicality and effectiveness. From the results of the study it was found that the validity percentage on the syllabus was 91.66% with the criteria of "very valid". The validity percentage of RPP is 93.65% with the "very valid" criterion. And the validity percentage of LKPD is 87.78% with the "very valid" criteria. while the practicality percentage of student response questionnaires on LKPD was 91.3% with the "very practical" criterion, and the practicality percentage of the teacher's response questionnaire on lesson plans was obtained 96.42% with the "very practical" criteria. And the percentage of effectiveness from the results of the pretest and posttest questions is 79.5% with the criteria of "effective". Thus the mathematics learning tool with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by GeoGebra software on straight line equation material for class VIII SMP has been tested for its validity, practicality and effectiveness.
