Abstract
The Indonesian education system is experiencing new challenges due to the corona virus outbreak which has caused the entire learning system in educational institutions to be shifted to online or online learning methods. This is why the minister of education provides a policy regarding online learning and each school must implement this policy. This study aims to find out what policies have been given by the Bengkalis district education office for online learning. This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research. The results of the analysis show that "Implementation" is the first aspect of a policy. That is, learning from home is not maximal, the lack of enthusiasm of students in taking part in online learning has an impact on the lack of students' understanding of the material provided by the teacher to students. Apart from that, there are also quota constraints, an inadequate internet signal, of course, it is very difficult to take part in online learning.
