Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out a survey of students’ motivation in participating in physical education lessons in the new normal period after the covid-19 pandemic. As for this type of research is descriptive with a quantitative approach using a questionnaire as an instrumet. The population and sample in this study were 69 students of class XI at SMAN 2 Siak Kecil. The data analysis technique used is to calculate the percentage value of the final questionnaire score. Based on the results of the reserch, the conclusions obtained in this study are: a survey of student motivation in participating in physicl education learning during the new normal period after the covid-19 pandemic was included in the very good category because based on the calculation results of the questionnaire scores of the six indicators, the avarage score of the motivational questionnaire was obtained is 65,08% which iles in the range of 50,01%-75%.
