Abstract

This study analyzes Agus Salim Market Management by UPT Management of the Pekanbaru City Trade an d Industry Office.. The main issues in this research are: order and cleanliness as well as the Agus Salim market building which was built by the Pekanbaru City Trade and Industry Service on land owned by the Pekanbaru City Government through special alloca tion funds for the 2019 budget for the trade sector. The assessment indicators used are planning, organizing, mobilizing, monitoring. The research method used in this thesis is descriptive quantitative research, collecting data related to the problems and facts so that a clear description of the results of the analysis will be obtained. There are 5 components of the population and 23 samples in this study, namely the head of the Pekanbaru City Trade and Industry Office, the Head of the Market Management Uni t, the Agus Salim Market Implementing Unit, the Agus Salim Market Traders, and the visitors to the Agus Salim Market in Pekanbaru City. The data analysis technique used a purposive sampling technique, one of the non random sampling techniques where the res earcher determined the sampling by determining special characteristics that were in accordance with the research objectives. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Based on this analysis technique, the res earcher assesses and concludes that the analysis of Agus Salim market management by the UPT for the management of the Pekanbaru City Trade and Industry Office . It is known that each indicator it's been going pretty well.
