Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation on the performance of helper employees with job satisfaction as an intervening variable at PT. Mega Riau Perdana Pekanbaru. This study uses a quantitative approach. The population in this study were employees of PT. Mega Riau Perdana Pekanbaru totaling 100 people and the sample in this study were all helper employees at PT. Mega Riau Perdana Pekanbaru as many as 50 people. Partial least square (PLS) is used to test the hypothesis in this research using SmartPLS 3.0. The results of this study found that there was a significant positive effect of work motivation on the performance of helper employees, there was a significant positive effect of work motivation on job satisfaction, there was a positive effect of job satisfaction on the performance of helper employees, and there was a direct positive effect of work motivation on the performance of helper employees with Job Satisfaction as an Intervening variable.
