Abstract

Public transportation is considered to be a solution to overcome problem in a transportation system that is starting to get crowded and growing, because of that there is a need for an efficient and effective public transportation system to support this. The large number of users of the Pekanbaru Trans Metro bus public transportation is one of the authors' foundations for researching the value of waiting time, down time and circulating time of the Trans Metro Pekanbaru bus. This case reviews waiting time, down time, and sirculation time carried out at UIN Suska Riau bus stop . Data collection was obtained through primary data with direct observation in the field carried out for 2 days on Monday and Sunday, starting from 06:00 WIB to finish. And secondary data obtained throughprevious studies of relate agencies such as the transportation service. Furthermore, the value of waiting time, stopping time, and sirculation time will be determined according to the observation that have been made. Based on a research survey that was conducted on the Trans Metro corridor III bus stop (UIN Suska and Awal Bross Hospital) on 9 and 15 March 2020, the highest waiting time was 10.71 minutes with bus number 17 on Sunday. While the lowest waiting time was 5.43 minutes with bus number 59 on Monday, and it can be concluded that corridor III buses for UIN Suska and early Bros routes are considered effective because they do not exceed the maximum waiting time limit of 10-20 minutes. for vehicle stop time, the UIN Suska Riau (TTA) stop produced an average stop time of 5.86 minutes and the Awal Bros Hospital (TTB) stop produced an average downtime of 5.22 minutes on Mondays, while on Sundays, UIN Suska stops Riau (TTA) produced an average downtime of 5.18 minutes and the Awal Bros Hospital stop resulted in an average downtime of 4.63 minutes. The average circulation time for each bus on Monday 9 March 2020 is 127.44 minutes, while on Sunday 15 March 2020 the average circulation time is obtained which results in an average bus circulation time of 112.95 minutes.
