Abstract

The Faculty of Engineering at the Islamic University of Riau is one of the faculties at the Islamic University of Riau in one of the private tertiary institutions under the Riau Islamic Education Institute Foundation (YLPI) in Pekanbaru. Currently, there are many people or new students who have difficulty finding buildings and rooms in the Faculty of Engineering. Most of them ask about where certain rooms are located, such as the rooms in the Engineering A Building, B Engineering Building, C Engineering Building, and D Engineering Building. can make it easier for students to be able to find out the rooms and buildings of the Riau Islamic University and can attract the interest of prospective students to see campus facilities. This application was created using the C# programming language, object design using Blender 3D which was then applied to the Unity3D game engine. Data collection was carried out by direct observation to find the data and information needed to support the research. Blackbox testing is carried out to test the function of the application that is made and based on the results of application testing to the user that the percentage index obtained is 84.8%, so that the application for the Introduction to the Faculty of Engineering, Islamic University of Riau can be implemented as an information medium.
