Abstract

Tembilahan city is one of the regency capitals in Riau province. There are lots of culinary locations in the city of Tembilahan that sell various kinds of food and drinks, ranging from traditional food to drinks that are currently being hit. Lack of information about culinary places makes it difficult for tourists and even local residents to find the culinary places they want. Because there is no application that can map a culinary place or location. Based on these problems, the authors developed an Android-based culinary location application to make it easier for tourists or local residents to find information on the culinary places they want. The system was developed in two parts, namely a web-based system for administrators and an Android-based application for tourists. Management of the system administrator is useful for managing data related to culinary locations, culinary menus, user data and comment data. Meanwhile, the use of the culinary location application is to provide information about culinary locations that are equipped with a map and contact the seller. Based on the results of the black box test on tourist attraction applications running 100% while based on system testing of users on culinary location applications carried out by 25 respondents using android with a percentage of 84.96%. Based on the black box test and system testing on users, it can be concluded that the application can be used as a medium to help find culinary places in the city of Tembilahan for tourists who are visiting or for local residents.
