Abstract

Labor productivity in the construction work of the Grand Elite Hotel Ballroom, Riau Business Center Complex, Jl. Riau, Air Hitam, Kec. Payung Sekaki, Pekanbaru. Using the MPDM (Method Productivity Delay Model) method, is an effective method for calculating productivity because it can be seen more clearly the delay factor that occurs when in the field. Productivity obtained in the field becomes the calculation of overall productivity. Productivity in the field with no time delay is the ideal productivity calculation. The results of research that occurs in the field according to the MPDM agreement are factors on labor. To delay the labor factor due to workers taking breaks because workers are tired, workers drinking because of hot weather, considering that the workforce is not focused on doing the job, workers smoke because workers have a habit of smoking at any job. In addition to the delays in the workforce, there are also delays due to the environment where there is a change in weather, so that the workforce experiences fatigue and also road access around the project is quite difficult because there are many parking lots that are not in the right place. There were also delays because the equipment was damaged, lost or not available in the field. Delays due to material needed when work is not available due to not arranging the schedule for the arrival of material. Delays are caused by management if the productivity of the sloof beam work is high, it must also be balanced by the productivity of the workers or the high burden between workers and field supervisors. The results of the data obtained on labor productivity using MPDM show that the overall productivity of iron is 1,937 kg/hour, ideal is 1,960 kg/hour, overall formwork productivity is 5,036 m2 hours, ideal is 5,054 m2/hour, overall productivity of casting is 1,099 m3/hour, ideal is 2,982 m3 / hour, the overall productivity of formwork demolition is 16,125 m2/hour, ideally 16,141 m2/hour.
