Abstract

Pesisir Selatan Regency has quite a number of tourist destinations which are tourist destinations in West Sumatra province such as Carocok Painan Beach with Cingkuak Island in IV Jurai sub-district and the Mandeh tourist area in Koto XI Tarusan sub-district. There are also Bukik Langkisau, Bayang Sani Waterfall, Timbulun Waterfall, Root Bridge and Tarusan Stone. Besides that, the Pesisir Selatan district also has historical tourist objects, the Gadang Mandeh Rubiah House, the Old Mosque, the Portuguese Fort and the Rabab Pasisie art. The Mandeh area is one of the Regency's Main Tourism Destinations (DUPK) in accordance with Regional Regulation Number 2 of 2015 concerning the Master Plan for Tourism Development in Pesisir Selatan Regency. Each of the tourism object areas mentioned above has various weaknesses so that there is a need for investment potential as follows: 1) adding boats and human resources as tour guides, 2) developing facilities and infrastructure to support tourism activities, 3) infrastructure development and adding attractions and marine games infrastructure, 4) construction of hotels, resorts, beauty salons and SPA, entertainment venues, travel and travel agencies and other facilities such as construction of culinary centers and development of rural tourism areas, construction of seawater swimming pools, 5) conservation of endemic biodata. Sungai Nipah Village Kenagarian South Painan District IV Jurai Regency is one of the areas that has very beautiful natural tourism potential. The combination of the beach and the small islands in front of it is a beauty in itself in Kampung Sungai Nipah.
