Abstract

Moral Values ??in the Novel Little Letters to God by Agnes Davonar This research is motivated by the first moral action based on the human heart itself. If the heart is dissatisfied with what it has, it will do so with actions, both right and wrong. Such problems also exist in the imaginary reality of literary works. The problems studied in this study are (1) what are the moral values ??related to the aspect of responsibility contained in the novel Little Letters to God by Agnes Davonar? (2) what are the moral values ??related to aspects of conscience contained in the novel Little Letters to God by Agnes Davonar? (3) what are the moral values ??related to the aspect of obligation contained in the novel Sura Kecil Untuk Allah by Agnes Davonar? The purpose of this research is to describe, analyze, interpret and collect data about moral values ??in Agnes Davonar's Little Letters for God novel from the aspects of responsibility, conscience, and obligations. The main theories used by Bertens (2007), Nurgiantoro (2007). The source of the data is the entire contents of the novel Small Letters for God by Agnes Davonar. The approach used is a qualitative approach to the type of library research. The method used is descriptive method. The data collection technique used was a hermeneutic technique, while the data analysis technique used content analysis data. The results of research on moral values ??in Agnes Davonar's Small Letters for God novel contain several aspects. The moral value of the aspect of responsibility is found in the novel Small Letters for God by Agnes Davonar. There are (8) data, moral values ??from conscience (9) data, and aspects of obligations (4) data.
