Abstract

This study aims to determine the results of the Quality of Service in the Field of Population and Civil Registration in Kampar Regency, the Electronic KTP Service section. Service quality is assessed from several aspects involving several indicators, namely tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy. The type of research conducted is qualitative research. This type of research uses more in-depth analysis, because it examines problems on a case-by-case basis because in a qualitative method one problem will be different from the nature of another problem. The purpose of qualitative research is to develop and use mathematical models, theories and hypotheses related to phenomena. The informants who played a role in this research were the General Headquarters and Personnel of the Population and Civil Registry Office of Kampar Regency and four local residents. The information withdrawal technique taken is a purposive sampling technique. Purposive sampling is a type of sampling technique commonly used in scientific research. In this study there were public complaints in the form of delays in completing the making of the Electronic KTP from the time it should have been. Another thing was that fees were charged for making Electronic KTP which should not have been charged under the applicable law. Based on the statement from DISDUKCAPIL, they have made efforts to overcome the problems that occurred.
