Abstract

This study aims to determine the Governance Analysis of Pontian Mekar Village, Lubuk Batu Jaya District, Indragiri Hulu Regency and to identify the inhibiting and supporting factors for the Governance Analysis of Pontian Mekar Village, Lubuk Batu Jaya District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The assessment indicators used include Transparency, Responsiveness, Effectiveness and efficiency, and Accountability. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research. The informant withdrawal technique used in this study was a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used in this study are interviews, observations, documentation. Data analysis technique is a method of analysis. Based on research conducted on the Governance Analysis of Pontian Mekar Village, Lubuk Batu Jaya District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, it can be concluded that Transparency, Pontian Mekar Village Government in formulating policies is carried out with village meetings. Responsiveness, Pontian Mekar village staff are useful for carrying out activities and programs that match the needs of the community. Effectiveness and efficiency The lack of utilization of natural resources by the village community, Accountability The process of making decisions/policies related to the Pontian Mekar Village Governance Analysis in making decisions lies with the village head.
