Abstract
distance learning process. Parents can provide motivation, attention and also support for children during learning activities. This study aims to analyze the role of parents in the learning of Class II students and analyze what are the inhibiting factors for the role of parents in learning for Class II students. After the data is collected through field observations, interviews and documentation, it will be analyzed descriptively qualitatively. Researchers used primary data sources obtained from students' parents. While the secondary data source is through class II A. The results show the role of parents in motivating the learning of class II students, parents have difficulty in allocating time to help children study and do homework, parents also lack adequate student facilities for children to be more active in participating. learning. In addition, parents also rarely pay attention to children's learning activities at home, so children prefer to play rather than study.
