Abstract
This study aims to provide learning through local wisdom in teaching materials with the hope that teachers in the area know and understand that their area has life values that can be contained in learning in schools. Students also know as the sons and daughters of the region who will inherit all these values as a form of cultural inheritance so that they do not become limited to the story later. The method used by the Research and Development model is Hanafin and Peck. Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the description analysis technique. The results of this study are in the form of teaching materials with a proper teaching point of Malay use with an average value of 4.29 and 85.71% from material experts and an average value of 4.00 and 80.00% from media experts. Thus it was found that teaching materials are suitable for use with excellent categories.
