Abstract

This reseach aims to produce a mathematics of learning tool in the form of the Learning of Implementation Plan and Student Worksheets by using the Problem Based Learning Model to Improve Mathematical Problem Solving Ability in Number Pattern Material for Class VIII Junior High School which is valid and practical In developing this SW using the ADDIE model that consists of five stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The data collection instruments used were LIP and SW validation sheets, as well as teacher questionnaire sheets and student questionnaire sheets. The technique of data used is a questionnaire (non-test). The validation of data from 2 lecturers of Mathematics Education FKIP UIR and one of mathematics teacher at Langgam State Junior High School. Practical data from 1 mathematics teacher at SMP Negeri 1 Serapung and 20 students from class VIII at SMP Negeri 1 Serapung. The technique of analysis used descriptive of analysis. From the results of the study, the results of the RPP validation were 91.83 with a very valid validation level. The average result of SW validation is 91.21 with a very valid validation level. The results of the practicality of the LIP filled out by the teacher got an average result of 80.88 in the Very Practical category and the results of the SW practicality questionnaire filled out by students got an average result of 97.19 in the Very Practical category. Based on this research, it was obtained the Learning Implementation Plan (LIP) and Student Worksheet (SW) with Problem Based Learning Model to Improve Mathematical Problem Solving Ability in Number Pattern Material for Class VIII Junior High School which is very valid and very practical.
