Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' learning difficulties in mathematics during the post-covid-19 pandemic at SMAS YKPP Dumai. This type of research is qualitative research with a case study method. The subjects in this study were 32 students of class XI MIPA 2 SMAS YKPP Dumai. Class selection was carried out using a simple random sampling technique. The data collection technique used was a non-test technique using observation guide instruments, questionnaires, and interview guidelines. Data analysis techniques were carried out in stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing of conclusions. The results of this study indicate that of the 13 indicators used, there were 8 student learning difficulties in mathematics during the post-covid-19 pandemic at SMAS YKPP Dumai, namely the lack of interest and motivation of students to study mathematics, student intelligence, how to teach teachers who make students feel bored and sleepy, the lack of use of mathematics learning media, which makes students less enthusiastic and less interested, teacher assessments that seem closed and not transparent, parents and families who do not participate in helping the learning process, and incomplete learning facilities.
